When God led Abraham to the land of promise Abraham built an altar of worship to the Lord. After the flood waters receded, the first thing Noah did was build an
altar of worship to God in the land. Moses led the Israelites out of Egypt so they could worship in the desert. God judged the kings of Israel and Judah as either good or bad based upon
how worship was being established in the land during their rulership. If no one in the land is worshipping the Living God the Bible says that the rocks will cry out.
Psalm 22:3 tells us that God inhabits the praises of His people and Psalm 8:2 says that when we worship God it silences the enemy. Worship to God is a weapon
of warfare defeating the enemies of God. The importance of worship is taught throughout the Bible.
The Virtual Prayer Worship Module has 10 to 15 minutes of worship music. As you open your heart and enter into His presence through worship, there will be a
slide show of pictures on your computer screen. These pictures represent the faces and places of Metro Detroit. Abraham, Noah, David, Peter, Paul and many other Bible patriarchs built
an altar of worship to the King of kings enthroning God in the atmosphere of where they lived and walked. That is exactly what you will be doing as you worship our God over the Metro Detroit
region.
When we worship the Lord by ascribing glory and honor to His name we join with the angels around His throne. Our worship is a sweet fragrance to our God and He
inhabits the praises of His people. Join in this sound of worship over the Metro Detroit region adding to the altar of worship to the Most High God. Enthrone His Majesty over the great
city of Detroit and the entire region.
A special thank you to artist Stephen Swanson who has given permission to the rhop.info website to use his music.
